WARC is a full service club that meets the first Wednesday of each month at the
Salvation Army Building Located at 350 N. Market in Wichita.
The club owns and operates 3 repeaters:
- The 146.79 in Derby
- the 146.82 east of Hutchinson
- and the 146.85 on top of Wesley Hospital.
We also sponsor Field day in June, Route 66 Certificate Hunt in the Fall,
provide aid to several charity events and have other social events through out the Year,
making us one of the more active Ham Radio organizations in the state of Kansas.
We will now take general check-ins. You do not have to be a member of WARC to join us
for this evening's net. But, you need to be licensed to operate on this frequency.
Stations wishing to check-in please call now — we'll take weak signal or mobile
stations first.
(take any calls until you get a couple of seconds without a call.
Echo back any call signs and keep a count of the number of calls)
